Granola bowls are one of my favorite snacks. Depending on the portion size, you can even substitute them for a meal. We play around with the toppings all the time, but this is one of our more basic versions. But don't worry, in this case, basic also means absolutely delicious!
Recipe
Ingredients:
-2 tbsp organic plain greek yogurt
-1/2 cup frozen organic berries of choice
-1/4 cup organic low fat milk (or coconut milk)
-1/2 a frozen banana
-homemade granola (see recipe in *Sides)
-1 tbsp honey
-1 tbsp chia seeds
-1 tbsp flax seeds
-1 tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
-fresh cut organic strawberries and pineapple to top
Instructions:
1. Blend together yogurt, frozen berries, banana, milk, chia and flax seeds
2. Put this smoothie mixture in a bowl, top with granola, honey, fresh fruit and coconut. ENJOY!
