Pecan-Crusted Grouper

This quick and easy weeknight meal is sure to become a favorite. With smoky, nutty flavors, combined with the sweetness of the grouper and honey, this dish is a delight to the taste buds!

*Use these spices when indicated:

- sea salt

- black pepper

- oregano

- paprika

- parsley

- thyme

- rosemary

For the sauce, whisk together until combined:

- 1 tbsp tahini

- 2 tbsp almond milk

- 1 tbsp coconut milk (canned)

- sea salt, to taste

- 1 tbsp garlic honey (if you don't have this, add 2 garlic cloves and 1 tbsp honey)

- 1 tbsp lemon juice

For the crust, pulse a few times in a food processor until choppy and clumps together:

- 2 tbsp pecans

- 1 tbsp garlic honey (if you don't have this, add 2 garlic cloves and 1 tbsp honey)

- 1 tsp cassava flour

- mixed seasonings from above

*You'll need 2 pieces of grouper, covered with the mixed seasonings from above.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to a high broil and prepare a baking sheet with extra virgin olive oil spray

  2. Place seasoned fish on the sheet and press the crust into the top

  3. Place on the low rack for 10 minutes, then move to the top rack for an additional 2 minutes

  4. While fish is cooking, whisk together ingredients for the sauce

  5. When plating, pour about 2 tablespoons (or more) of sauce onto each piece of fish and enjoy!

*I love to pair this with white rice and a mix of green veggies!

With love,

Brie
